The historic New Model Degree College is situated in a pleasant environment on the eastern side of Mirpur Road, adjacent to Dhanmondi 32, in the heart of Dhaka metropolitan city. The college began its academic journey with undergraduate-level education.
Alongside Higher Secondary education under the Dhaka Education Board, the college has been offering Honours and Master’s programs under the National University since the 1996–97 academic session in Accounting, Marketing, Management, Finance & Banking, English, Social Work, Political Science, and Islamic History & Culture. Honours programs are also offered in Bangla, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Economics.
In addition, the college offers professional courses in BBA, MBA, Tourism & Hospitality Management, and CSE, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Library & Information Science.
The college is equipped with modern facilities and technology-based classrooms. The entire campus is covered by CCTV surveillance and provides Wi-Fi facilities.
