New Model Degree College was established in 1968 with the aim of providing higher education. The college is situated in a pleasant environment at Shukrabad, adjacent to the historic Dhanmondi 32 Road and the Dhanmondi Lake, Dhaka-1207.
The college has 70 regular teachers along with several part-time teachers who are engaged in providing quality education. The teachers perform their responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and sincerity.
New Model Degree College is a private educational institution affiliated with the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, and the National University. The college offers Higher Secondary education under the Dhaka Education Board. Under the National University, it offers Bachelor’s (Pass) programs, BBA (Honours) in Accounting, Management, Marketing, and Finance & Banking; BA (Honours) in English; BSS (Honours) in Social Work; BBA (Professional); and various postgraduate-level courses.
The college is governed by a Governing Body constituted in accordance with the rules and regulations of the National University. The Governing Body determines the policies related to the college and oversees its overall administration and management.
